Mike Cohen, CEO

Michael R. Cohen,

For nearly 30 years, Mike has partnered with management consulting and information technology firms, hospitals, health systems, financial, academic, governmental institutions, and manufacturers nationwide. His success comes from working with companies, not for them. He's one of the country's leading executive recruiters with a loyal client base and extensive professional network.

He joined Intech Summit Group in 1988 as Executive Vice President and has been our CEO for over a decade. Prior to ISG, Mike was a principal in the firm of Miera & Cohen International and a national manager with West Tech Consulting Services, Inc. Mike's depth of experience combined with his innovative approach has garnered him and our company national recognition.

Mike is a respected community leader, directly involved in a number of professional and civic organizations. He is an avid golfer and outdoorsman. Mike and his wife, Cindy, have been married 30 years and have two adult children.
Charlene Hall, Executive Director

Charlene specializes in Healthcare recruiting - placing individuals in executive level roles with national healthcare consulting firms, health systems and hospitals. She joined our company in 2004 and has expertise in consulting, supply chain, operations, technology, health plans, and life sciences. Charlene has been highly successful working with our clients to find the best possible candidates, and receives high marks from clients and candidates for her follow-up and professionalism.

Before ISG, Charlene worked for the national firm of Snelling & Snelling. She began her career in search with local firms General Employment and SoCal Search. Charlene took time off to raise three children, support their school activities, and run a home-based business. She's a former President of the Down Syndrome Association of San Diego, and has been active on boards for other volunteer organizations.

Charlene supports her husband with his educational consulting business, and together they enjoy spending time with their children, plus cooking, entertaining, movies and travel.
Starlene Roop, Director of Administration and Research

Starlene understands the needs of Intech’s healthcare consulting, life sciences, hospital, and health system administration and operations clients. She joined our company in 1996 as the primary administrative support for our CEO. Since 2008, her role and responsibilities have expanded significantly to include directing all research and administration for ISG.

She is responsible for the resourcing and tracking of new candidates, as well as maintaining the extensive company database. Starlene coordinates all interviews, plans travel, and manages client invoicing. She enjoys and has been very successful at building and supporting professional relationships with each of our clients and candidates.

Starlene has two adult children. Her interests include music, cooking, travel and Pilates.
